Schneider Electric and Sentryo join forces around cyber infrastructure security industrial

  • An alliance for the integration and deployment of the ICS CyberVision solution
  • An industrial systems monitoring offer that complements the Schneider Electric’s cybersecurity solutions portfolio
  • A technological partnership aimed at ensuring business continuity industrial control systems

Villeurbanne – France, October, 5 2017 – On the occasion of the event Les Assises de la Sécurité 2017 (from October 11 – 14 in Monaco), Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, and Sentryo, pioneer of cybersecurity of the Industrial Internet, announce the signature of a technological partnership for the integration and deployment of the Sentryo ICS CyberVision solution.

Cybersecurity of industrial infrastructures: an economic and societal challenge

Recent cyberattacks have demonstrated the economic impact of malware such as WannaCry or NotPetya on industrial control systems. Through the publication in 2016 of the European NIS Directive and the sectoral decrees related to the Military Programming Law 2014-2019, France relies on the regulations to set up, under the aegis of ANSSI, an adapted cybersecurity. It concerns all national organizations operating critical infrastructures and in particular industrial control systems.

Propose an efficient cybersecurity solution implemented by a trusted partner

In early 2017, becoming the first Specialized Maintenance and Maintenance Service Provider in Cybersecurity compliant with the ANSSI reference framework, Schneider Electric and its Network Engineering & Cybersecurity (NEC) department are expanding their offer with the Sentryo software and hardware platform. Sentryo’s ICS CyberVision offers the required visibility (inventory and dynamic mapping) as well as the detection of potentially malicious suspicious behavior, to ensure the continuity of service of the industrial systems.

“The Schneider Electric teams are trained and certified on the Sentryo solution that we implement on our customers’ industrial architectures. ICS CyberVision perfectly meets the need for intrusion detection sought by industrialists” commented Yann Bourjault, Director of Cybersecurity at Schneider Electric France.

“For Schneider Electric, cybersecurity is a key issue that we are integrating into the design of all our products today. Our strategy is also to develop an ecosystem of partners, offering powerful and complementary solutions to our offer, which is the case of the solution developed by Sentryo” adds Marc Fromager, VP Process Automation of Schneider Electric.

For Thierry Rouquet, President and co-founder of Sentryo: “Schneider Electric is a world leader in the Industrial Internet. The integration of our platform into the offer of the industry division is a strong sign of the quality and relevance of our solution but also of Schneider Electric’s recognition of the cybersecurity issues of industrial control networks .”
